What is an Epicenter?

How does robotic surgery work?
Robotic surgery involves inserting miniature surgical instruments through tiny incisions to visualize the surgical site with a high-definition 3D camera. Your surgeon is able to view a magnified, high resolution image of the surgical site while controlling the robotic equipment and surgical instruments. The da Vinci® system translates your surgeon’s hand movements into smaller, more precise movements, meaning your surgeon is in control throughout your entire procedure.
