DULLES, VA – StoneSprings Hospital Center, a 124-bed acute care HCA Healthcare facility currently under construction in Loudoun County, VA, today announced the appointment of veteran hospital and healthcare executive Candi Christopher as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In her new role, Ms. Christopher will provide oversight to all aspects of the hospital’s financial operations including accounting and financial reporting, revenue cycle, financial planning and budgeting, tax reporting, and supply chain.
Ms. Christopher joins StoneSprings Hospital from The George Washington University Hospital, where she served as Controller and Interim CFO. While at The George Washington University Hospital, Ms. Christopher implemented the first electronic check request approval process, reduced denials by 25%, and managed capital outlay of approximately $20 million.
Ms. Christopher’s deep healthcare leadership experience includes management posts at Ernst & Young, healthcare services division and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. She earned her CPA and Masters of Accountancy from Virginia Tech and her Bachelors of Accounting from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
